I got a staph infection 2 weeks ago and i was supposed to go for a colon oscopy and an endoscope that week but i canceled because i was taking anti biotics. i also had a skin infection on my fingers 2 months ago and had to take anti biotics. 4 months before that i had a sinus infection and also took antibiotics .so i am scared my imune system is getting week and i would hate to have to take antibiotics anytime soon ,because i have been taking them so much in a short time.Well i have to re schedule the procedures mentioned i dont no how long i should wait before doing them in case of any complications. but my stomache does hurt so i do need the tests kinda soon.but im still waiting for the staph infection to clear up ,i go for a follow up in a couple days .the infection is on the side of my love handle or the side of my belly almost on back 2 inches above belt line no idea how i got it .2 doctors said i could do the tests and my practitioner told me to wait so i poss poned them but i dont no how soon to do them after the staph infection ANY ADVICE AND what can i do to rebuild my imune system to strengthen it from taking so much antibiotics

That many antibiotics in such a short time can kill all the good bacteria in your body. It can cause all kinds of unpleasant side effects. Ask your doctor about taking acidophilus. This helps to replace the good bacteria in your body. You can also eat yogurt that has live cultures in it. But you need to time it with the pill that you are taking. Your doctor should be able to give you the information that you need.

NUTRITION that is the key to a good immune system. The "immune boosters" you see on TV and in mags are not regulated by the FDA so be careful if you go that route (and ask your pharmacist or GP first). Antibiotics have their time and place and I hope you truely have a bacterial infection requiring an antibiotic and not just a viral one. Good luck to you and I do hope you can proceed forward with your "flip flop" (endo and colon on the same day). These tests are sooooo good and finding answers.
